The Kansas City, Kan., Police Department is investigating a death that occurred Wednesday afternoon.
Officers were called out to the area of the 400 Block of N. 7th Street at about 4 p.m. Wednesday. After they arrived at the home, police discovered a dead body inside the home.
Information about the victim is being withheld until the victim's family is notified.
However, an investigation regarding the cause of death is now underway by the police department.
