Joined by his wife, Mary, and daughter, Elizabeth, Asher was presented a Chiefs’ jacket, Matt Cassel jersey and Chiefs’ cap along with a specially decorated cake.
Asher’s 40 years in Buildings and Grounds included one year at the old downtown campus, the last full-time employee at the old campus.
In retirement, Asher’s plans including more fishing, bowling, chess and running – and babysitting three grandchildren.
