Former Schlagle student graduates from military training

U.S. Military 

Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Daniel Flores graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Flores is the son of Victoria Gaytan of Kansas City, Kan.

He is a 2003 graduate of F.L. Schlagle High School, Kansas City. He earned an associate degree in 2008 from Kansas City Kansas Community College.
