Four-year-old injured in shooting

Just hours after a shooting in Kansas City, Kan., resulted in two dead and two more injured, a second shooting has occurred this weekend.

And this one involves a four-year-old boy.

According to the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department, two people were injured after a "rolling gun battle" ensued in the 1700 Block of Stewart Avenue area. Police reported to the scene just after 8 p.m. Saturday night.

Two were injured - a four-year-old boy and someone described by police as a "white male in his 20s."

The boy was listed in serious condition, as he was shot in the stomach as a result of cross-fire between two different parties.

Police found a vehicle in connection to the incident around 57th and Kaw Drive.
