The Kansas City Blue Dogs basketball program will be expanding this fall.
The
Blue Dogs, traditionally a boys basketball program, will now be
including 4th and 6th grade girls basketball teams in the program.
This brings the total number of teams offered to four - 8th grade boys, 9th grade boys, 4th grade girls and 6th grade girls. More grade levels will likely be announced later this year.
Since its creation by program founder Derrick Estelle, the Blue Dogs program has won 114 championships.
