Study: Wyandotte County the youngest county in the metro

There's been a lot made about Wyandotte County's turnaround in terms of population numbers. Over the last decade, there's been an increase of population in Wyandotte County.

Now, according to The Kansas City Business Journal, Wyandotte County ranks as the youngest county.

Interesting bit:

Looking at Wyandotte County’s 2010 population of 157,505, 8.71 percent were children ages 0 to 4. That’s good for a 118th-place ranking nationally and the highest in the metro area. Almost 35,000 WyCo residents (22.21 percent) were ages 5 to 19.
