Daniel Barlett has been charged with first degree murder and criminal discharge of a firearm following Monday's shooting.
Barlett is charged in connection to the Sept. 24 shooting that occurred in the 1300 Block of N. 47th Street.
The shooting claimed the life of Chad Ford, who was in a vehicle at the time of the incident. Barlett is currently in the Wyandotte County Jail in lieu of a $1 million bond.
He's innocent until proven guilty.
