There will be a community pep rally tonight for the Piper Pirates football team.
Danny's Bar and Grill will host the event tonight. Community members are asked to come out and support Piper's team at around 6:45 p.m. tonight.

Please join us for an all community pep rally Thursday night at Danny's. We have chosen this as the location for our weekly tailgate due to the date/time of the game being at Eudora Friday at 7. We feared that most people may not be able to make it down early enough to tailgate.
For the event, Danny's has agreed to reserve the patio for any parents that want to attend and / or eat. While we are on the patio the boys will be enjoying a team dinner in the non smoking area. Danny's is providing the players dinner on Thursday night plus the usual pre-game meal on Friday for $5 total. After the boys are done eating they will come out on the patio / south parking lot to greet the community and thank them for their support. We expect this to happen around 6:45.
Please make every effort to attend before 6:45 to show your support even if you aren't going to eat. We would like to see the 200 or so people that attended the tailgate party at the middle school last week and more. If we have enough people we will overflow onto the parking lot south of Danny's. Also, they have asked that we not take any alcohol into the parking lot.
They are fine with us taking our food out there just not any alcohol.
