KCTV 5: Harmon forfeits girls basketball game after marijuana discovered on bus

The Harmon Hawks girls basketball program forfeited its Tuesday night basketball game following the discovery of marijuana, KCTV 5 reported tonight.

The boys basketball game between the Harmon Hawks and Topeka West boys team was played.

However, the girls game was forfeited. KCK police confirmed the bag of marijuana being discovered to KCTV5.

Topeka school district officials said that their athletic director received a call from Harmon staff members about 30 minutes before the game, saying Harmon's girls team would be forfeiting the game.
