Kick off for Sporting KC match on May 12 moved to 7 p.m. CT

Sporting Kansas City's match on Sunday, May 12th against MLS Cup runners-up Houston Dynamo will kick off at 7 p.m. CT on KSMO-TV at BBVA Compass Stadium, the teams announced on Tuesday.

The Mother's Day match-up, the first of three meetings between the Eastern Conference contenders during the 2013 regular season, was moved to prime time from the previously scheduled 3 p.m. CT kick off and will no longer air on ESPN.

With the schedule change, Sporting Kansas City now has more than two-thirds of all its 2013 regular season games (23 of 34) that kick off at 6:30 p.m. CT or later.

Sporting Kansas City's 2013 schedule features 12 nationally-televised matches, including eight games on the NBC Sports Network, three on UniMas and one on ESPN.

The start times for Sporting Kansas City matches at Montreal on July 27 and at Toronto FC on Sept. 21 are expected to be announced later this week as part of the TSN/RDS broadcast schedule.
