19-year-old charged in triple shooting case

A 19-year-old has been charged in connection to a shooting that occurred in Wyandotte County on April 22.

Kyle Longdon of Kansas City, Kan., has been charged with three counts of aggravated battery, one count of criminal discharge of a firearm at an occupied building and one count of criminal discharge of a firearm at an unoccupied building.

He was charged today by Wyandotte County District Attorney Jerome Gorman. 

The man is in custody of law enforcement in Wyandotte County.

Longdon and other suspects are accused of firing 20 shots in the area of the 2500 Block of Metropolitian. One adult was shot and two juveniles were harmed during the early evening shootings.

While Longdon is in custody, the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department is seeking additional information about other suspects involved in the shootings.
