KCKPD evacuated after gas line hit

The Kansas City, Kan., Police Department headquarters were evacuated Tuesday afternoon after a gas line was hit by construction workers.

At around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, a gas line was struck and the department - along with other buildings in the area - were forced to evacuate.

No injuries have been reported as of yet. More information when available.
