KCK man charged with eluding police

A Kansas City, Kan., man has been charged with one count of eluding a police officer in connection to a police pursuit.

Rodney Houston was charged today by Wyandotte County District Attorney Jerome Gorman. Houston is charged with eluding police during a pursuit on Feb. 13 that began in Kansas City, Mo.

Wyandotte County District Attorney Jerome A. Gorman this afternoon charged Rodney L. Houston, Black Male, Kansas City, Kansas, DOB:  07-23-80, with one count of felony Eluding a Police Officer in connection with a police pursuit which occurred on February 13, 2013.  The pursuit began in Kansas City, Missouri, and continued across the state line into Kansas City, Kansas, coning to an end when the vehicle being chased crashed in the 5100 block of Georgia Avenue. Houston is in the Wyandotte County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bond.  He is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
