A Kansas City, Kan., woman has been charged with aggravated burglary and two counts of endangering a child following a car theft this week in KCK.

Brittany McKinley, 23, was charged today and is accused of stealing a vehicle that had two young children inside it.

The car was stolen earlier this week on the 1700 Block of Parallel Parkway in KCK. Two children - ages 9 and one - were inside the car when it was stolen.

According to the Wyandotte County District Attorney's Office, the two children were dropped off sometime later a half-mile away from the store the car was taken from.

They were unharmed during the car theft.

McKinley is in custody of the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department. She's presumed innocent until proven guilty.
