Investigation: BPU knew of down power-line 11 hours before death

KANSAS CITY, KAN. --- The Board of Public Utilities said today they were informed about a down power-line at Rosedale Park that killed a Shawnee, Kan., man.

Nicholas Moeder was killed early Sunday morning by a power-line that was left unattended at Rosedale Park.

At press conference today, BPU said they were informed about the down power-line at 4:07 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.

According to reports, Moeder was electrocuted at Rosedale Park shortly after 3 a.m. on Sunday morning.
