In addition, there will be lectures, individual and small group skill work, breakdown drills to create repletion of the skill itself, and competitive play to allow campers an opportunity to apply their newfound skills.
The All-Skills camps are designed to provide instruction on the fundamental components of basketball such as dribbling, passing, shooting and defense. Campers will be separated according to their skill level and instructed to reinforce proper habits through lectures, individual and small group skill work, breakdown drills and competitive play.

Instruction will be provided by Valerie Stambersky, who just completed her 14th year as head women’s coach at KCKCC; nine-year assistant Alicia Roth; and current and former KCKCC student athletes. All sessions will be held in the air-conditioned KCKCC Field House located on the north end of the college campus at 7250 State Avenue. The Field House will open a half-hour prior to the start of each camp and remain open a half-hour afterwards.

Each participant is responsible for furnishing basketball or running shoes, practice clothes, towel and water bottle. Also, prior to participation, parents or guardians must provide a medical release form, registration form and paid clinic fees.
