Two men charged in KCK murder

Two men have been charged with first degree murder and attempted aggravated robbery after one person was shot and killed in Kansas City, Kan., on June 2.

Jeffrey D. Bushart and Clifford W. Sullivan, from Kansas City, Mo., and KCK respectively, were charged this week.

Bushart is in custody of the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department. Sullivan remains at large.

Wyandotte County District Attorney Jerome A. Gorman late yesterday charged two individuals with First Degree Murder and Attempted Aggravated Robbery in connection with the June 2, 2013, shooting death of Larry E. Sullivan, which occurred in the vicinity of 16 Jeffrey D. Bushart, White Male, DOB:  02-14-82, Kansas City, Missouri, and Clifford W. Sullivan, a.k.a. “CJ”, Black Male, DOB:  11-12-86, Kansas City, Kansas, Bushart is in custody in the State of Missouri.  Sullivan is at large.  Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is asked to contact the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department at 913-596-3000, or the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
