Wyandot, Inc. to recognize three Community Partners at Annual Meeting/Celebration

KANSAS CITY, KAN. --- Wyandot, Inc. will host its Annual Meeting/Celebration Thursday, Sept. 12, and will recognize three Community Partners and employees marking service anniversaries, and present three special awards to staff demonstrating outstanding service.

The program will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the organization’s mid-Wyandotte County location, 1301 North 47th Street, Kansas City, Kan.

Receiving Community Partner Awards will be:
  • Rita Hoag, City Clerk, Bonner Springs, Kan., who has served several years as chairperson of the Western Wyandotte County Citizens’ Advisory Council of Wyandot Center and PACES.
  • Metro Lutheran Ministry with whom Kim Wilson Housing and Wyandot Center collaborate to provide housing opportunities for adults consumers.
  • Sunflower House, a child advocacy center that strives to protect children from abuse and for which PACES provides on-site therapy services.
Forty-nine employees will receive anniversary awards ranging from five years to 35 years.  Three special awards will be presented in recognition of meritorious service by staff.
