KCKCC celebrates holiday season

KANSAS CITY, KAN. ----- Faculty and staff at Kansas City Kansas Community College celebrated the holidays a little early at the President’s Open House and Faculty and Staff Holiday Party Thursday, Dec. 12.

“Collaboration is vital for developing and strengthening teams,” said KCKCC President Doris Givens. “At KCKCC we value our team.”

Catered by Kansas City Catering, the event served as an opportunity for KCKCC employees to come together and celebrate the holiday season.

Mike King played the keyboard during the celebration in Upper Jewell in addition to other vocal jazz soloists.

Staff and faculty members from all KCKCC campuses were invited.

“The President’s Open House and Faculty and Staff Holiday Party are a collaborative effort that provides an opportunity to sit together in a different setting and enjoy good conversation,” Givens said. “We relax, enjoy music of the season, eat good food, and share updates with retirees, community and corporate friends and co-workers we don’t often see.”
