KANSAS CITY, KAN. ----- Piper Pirates junior linebacker Colton Beebe made some history this week.
Beebe, who led Piper in tackles with 159 this season, won the Bobby Bell Award for the top lineman or linebacker in the Kansas City metro area.
Beebe is just the second winner from the Kansas side to win the award.
He's led Piper in tackles all three seasons he's played at the varsity level. Additionally, he was selected First Class 4A linebacker in both 2012 and 2013.
