Limited space remains for KCKCC trip to Turkey

KANSAS CITY, KAN. ----- Limited space remains for Kansas City Kansas Community College’s spring trip to Turkey April 11-25.

Called the best of his 26 KCKCC trips abroad by trip organizer Alan Hoskins, the trip is also the biggest bargain in travel offered today.

A 15-day trip, the price is $3,259 double occupancy and includes round trip air fare from Kansas City, 11 dinners and daily breakfast, lodging, full-time travel guide and other amenities.

Highlights include Istanbul with its Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar with 3,000 shops under one roof; Ephesus, where the Apostle Paul was stoned in the Great Theatre that is still used today; the home where the Virgin Mary is believed to have spent her final days; Troy and its fabled wooden horse; and the otherworldly spires of Cappadocia and the underground city.

Brochures and itineraries are available by contacting Alan Hoskins at ahoskins@kckcc.edu or 913-788-3376 or 913-288-7158. “The most interesting country I’ve visited but early sign-up is a must because this trip will fill up,” said Hoskins. All that is required to secure space is a $300 deposit.
