Burn ban lifted by KCK Fire Department

KANSAS CITY, KAN. ----- The Kansas City, Kan., Fire Department has lifted its ban on issuing burn permits. 

More information from the KCK Fire Department:
The change in weather conditions has allowed for the temporary outdoor burn ban in place to be lifted. Kansas City Kansas residents can apply for a Burn Permit at any Kansas City Kansas Fire Station.

The Burn Permit must be applied for 24 hours in advance of their intended burn day. All Burn Permit Guidelines will be strictly enforced. Residents are reminded to use extreme caution when anytime during this open burn period.

Please be advised that if weather conditions dictate, a burn ban will may be enforced again.
