Former Piper student to star in play

KANSAS CITY, KAN. – Addi Morgan, daughter of Sheri Killer of Kansas City, Kan., and Blane Morgan of Kansas City, Kan., will be a cast member in a Morningside College production of one-act plays at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 12, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 13, in Klinger-Neal Theatre, 3700 Peters Ave.

She is a 2012 graduate of Piper High School.

Morgan will be a cast member in the play “Finding a Chord” by Catherine Keyser. Other one-act plays in the production are “Slop Culture” by Robb Badlam and “Adventure Time with Loop and Nurfy” by Morningside College student Cat Ruddy of Minneapolis, Minn.

The performances are free and open to the public.

Morningside College is a small, private college in Sioux City, Iowa, that offers students the opportunity to earn a bachelor’s degree in a variety of disciplines, or a master’s degree in education.
