KCKFD to not issue burn permits today

The Kansas City, Kan., Fire Department will not be issuing any new burn permits today.

Due to the strong winds and the continuing dry conditions, the Kansas City Kansas area is under a Red Flag Warning requiring a temporary ban on any open burning until further notice. No new burn permits will be issued at this time.
