KANSAS CITY, KAN. ----- The Kansas City, Kan., Fire Department is investigating a Monday afternoon fire that happened at 2214 Vista Drive.
No one was harmed in the fire, which caused just over $90,000 worth of damage.
"Original call came in as an investigation on an electrical problem," said Craig Duke, PIO Deputy Chief for the KCK Fire Department. "Investigative crew called for a regular structure alarm when they arrived on the scene with smoke showing from the roof of the structure."
Two residents inside the house evacuated the home.
The fire, which was reported just after 4:30 p.m. on Monday, also caused $10,000 worth of damage to items inside the home.
It remains under investigation.
