KANSAS CITY, KAN. ----- An armed suspect wanted in connection to a homicide case was injured in a shooting with police on Saturday afternoon.
Kansas City, Kan., police discovered a man wanted in connection to a murder that happened near 14th Street and Kansas Avenue.
Police pursued the man to the 100 Block of James Street.
After the chase ended, the suspect exited the vehicle with his gun and was shot by an officer, police say.
The suspect is described only as someone in his 30's. His identity was not given out. The man is expected to recover and his injuries were not described as life-threatening.
