U.S. Rep. Kevin Yoder will be heading back to Congress after winning another term in the Third District of Kansas.

Yoder defeated Democratic challenger Kelly Kultala by 20 percentage points, 60-40. He won 132,501 votes compared to her total of 87,781.

While Yoder did not win Wyandotte County, Johnson County proved to be too much of a hurdle for Kutala to clear.

He will be in the majority in the House.

Republicans will have at least 250 House seats when the next session of Congress starts in January.
