Fundraiser set up for Bonner Springs resident

BONNER SPRINGS, KAN. ---- A fundraiser has been set up for a Bonner Springs resident who passed away from a rare form of leukemia.

More information about the fundraiser here:
Bonner Springs resident Jodi Shelton Langley was a cancer survivor from a rare form of leukemia.
Her first transplant had difficulty with a match, but they finally found one from the United Kingdom. She was in remission, when this year doctors discovered that her cancer had returned.
Against all odds, they located another marrow donor match from the United Kingdom and she was beginning her preparation for a second marrow transplant.
Unfortunately, this time she was not successful in her battle. What began as a fundraiser to help defray her original set of medical bills and secondary bills, as well as some much needed repairs on her home, has changed to a Memorial fundraiser for her daughter to cover those expenses and funeral costs.
Jodi's Celebration of life Service at Christ First Ministries of Bonner Springs on December 27th was Standing Room Only
A true testament to her giving nature.
Please consider attending and spreading the word about the Spaghetti dinner and silent auction January 17th 2015 at the First Christian Church 148 N. Nettleton, Bonner Springs KS 66012.
