Fort Hays State honors students from Wyandotte County

KANSAS CITY, KAN. ---- Local students are among the 1,167 named by Fort Hays State University to the Deans Honor Roll for the fall 2014 semester.

The list includes undergraduate students only. To be eligible, students must have enrolled in 12 or more credit hours and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60 for the semester. Full-time on-campus and FHSU Virtual College students are eligible.

Students honored from Wyandotte County:

BONNER SPRINGS, KAN. 

  • Erin Mills, a 2011 graduate of Bonner Springs High School, is a junior majoring in business education (corporate communication). 
  • Breanna C. Tendick, a 2012 graduate of Bonner Springs High School, is a junior majoring in social work. 
KANSAS CITY, KAN. 
  • Tonya R. Brown is a junior majoring in sociology. 
  • Vilma Y. Maldonado, a 2013 graduate of Bishop Ward High School, is a sophomore majoring in management. 
  • Evan Michael Norris, a 2010 graduate of Bishop Ward High School, is a senior majoring in history (comprehensive middle school). 
  • Kelcy D. Shackelford is a junior majoring in education. 
  • Mariah E. Smith, a 2014 graduate of Bishop Ward High School, is a freshman majoring in psychology. 
  • Jonathan Mark Corbett is a senior majoring in information networking and telecommunications (computer networking). 
  • Samantha A. Morrissey, a 2013 graduate of Bishop Ward High School, is a freshman majoring in accounting.
