KANSAS CITY METRO TRAFFIC ALERT: Lackman Road long-term lane closures for September 13-29

Northbound and southbound Lackman Road left lanes from 101st Terrace to 105th Street will be closed for traffic switch work beginning at 8 p.m. on Sunday, September 13 and will reopen on Tuesday, September 29, weather permitting.

Remember to avoid traffic delays with the long-term Lackman Road lane closures noted above, drivers can now use Renner Boulevard as an alternative route as all lanes of Renner Boulevard are NOW OPEN to traffic!

Updated daily traffic information for the #jocogateway interchange project can be viewed at www.jocogateway.com and for the entire Kansas City Metro Area at www.ksdot.org/kcmetro/laneclose.asp.

The Kansas Department of Transportation urges all motorists to be alert, obey the warning signs, and “Give ‘Em a Brake!” when approaching and driving through the project work zone.

The overall #jocogateway project is scheduled to be completed in late December 2016. (KDOT Project #435-46 KA-1002-06)
