The effort to secure $144,000 in donations in a short time is an uphill battle.
However, one Kansas City, Kan., business is hoping to help out the cause to save Muncie Christian School.
Chick-fil-A at The Legends, located at 10770 Parallel Parkway, will be hosting two "Save Muncie Christian School" spirit nights. Proceeds from sales made betwen 4 to 8 p.m. on both Tuesday and Thursday evenings will be donated to the effort to save the school.
Customers there to support Muncie are encouraged to tell the staff why they're there and mention SaveMCS.com, the Website dedicated towards the donation drive.

If Muncie Christian School is closed, 16 teachers would be without a job and 112 students who are enrolled for the 2012-13 school year would be left without a school.
