A Sunday night fire caused nearly $20,000 worth of damage to a home located at 2622 Armstrong Avenue.

However, no one was injured in the blaze.

The Kansas City, Kan., Fire Department reported to the scene of the fire just after 11 p.m. on Sunday night.

According to KCKFD Battalion Chief Craig Duke, the fire was discovered in the living room of the home.

"Crews on the scene within two minutes reported fire coming from the front of a one-story wood framed residential structure," Duke said. "Crews found heavy fire in the living room area."

The fire remains under investigation by the KCKFD.
