A car accident involving a bus from the Turner School District injured at least eight students Monday morning.
The accident happened at 55th Street and Metropolitan Avenue early Monday morning. The bus collided with a truck in the area.
Five of those students were taken to the hospital as a precaution. However, all eight of the students injured were expected to recover.
Three individuals who were inside the truck were not harmed in the accident.
Kansas City, Kan., police are investigating the accident.
