Sidley brings more than 19 years of experience in a wide range of clinical and administrative positions in inpatient and outpatient care settings.
Most recently, Sidley served as chief nursing officer at Heartland Regional Medical Center, Marion, Ill.; vice president of patient services at Portneuf Medical Center, Pocatello, Idaho; and vice president of operations at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital, Bozeman, Mont.

She received her master of science in nursing degree from the University of Washington, Seattle, Wash.
“The decade I spent in the Navy helped shape my career as a nurse and as a leader,” Sidley says. “Though a new nurse, I was quickly promoted to a leadership role. It was both the most challenging time of my life and the most rewarding,” she adds. “I began my career at Camp Lejuene, North Carolina stationed with the Marines. I served overseas at the Naval base in Naples, Italy and while there, I was afforded the opportunity to serve on a humanitarian mission to Uzebekistan. The United States donated, delivered and set up over $10 million of medical and surgical supplies.”
Sidley was attracted to Providence and Saint John by the staff’s loyalty and passion for patient care.
“It is apparent to me how much our staff cares about this community and the patients we serve. My goal is to build on that foundation to develop a shared decision-making model that dramatically enhances patient care, staff engagement and satisfaction.”
Sidley is a member of the American Association of Nurse Executives and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Her family includes her husband and two teenage sons who are in the process of relocating to the Kansas City area.
She enjoys golf and while in the Navy was awarded the sharpshooter medal.
