One person was killed late Wednesday evening in a car accident on Interstate 70.
The Kansas City, Kan., Police Department said the accident happened around the area of the Lewis and Clark Viaduct on I-70.
Lanes in the area were temporarily closed following the accident.
No information about the fatality victim is available. A second person was taken to a hospital as a result of the accident.
