American Red Cross assisting families affected by fire

Following this morning's fatality fire at 1800 N. 76th Drive in Kansas City, Kan., the American Red Cross announced that it will be assisting over 20 individuals who were affected by the fire.

News release:
The American Red Cross is helping 26 people with emergency needs such as lodging, food, and new clothing after an early morning apartment fire at 1800 N 76th Drive, KCK.

Red Cross caseworkers will continue to work with the people affected by the fire over the coming days to identify other assistance that can be provided.

The fire claimed two lives.  The Red Cross has reached out to those families as well and will be providing assistance as needed.
