KCKFD releases identities of those killed in fire

The Kansas City, Kan., Fire Department released the identities of the two individuals killed in Saturday morning's fire at an apartment complex at 1800 N. 76th Drive.

One of the victims was two-year-old Amiyah McClenton. The second victim was Brandi S. Johnson, who was 34 years old.

Both were killed in a fire early that happened before 6 a.m. on Saturday. Johnson was found dead by firefighters at the scene; McClenton was transported to a hospital before dying as a result of injuries.

The KCK Fire Department is still investigating the fire.
