KCK man charged with receiving, possessing child porn

Steven Harrison, 51, Kansas City, Kan., is charged in a superseding indictment with one count of receiving child pornography and one count of possessing child pornography.

The crimes are alleged to have occurred in November 2011 and April 2012 in Wyandotte County, Kan.

If convicted, he faces a penalty of not less than five years and not more than 20 years in federal prison and a fine up to $250,000 on the charge of receiving child pornography and a maximum penalty of 10 years and a fine up to $250,000 on the possession charge.

The FBI investigated. Assistant U.S. Attorney Christine Kenney is prosecuting.
