Lakeside Speedway kicks off 2013 season April 12

Lakeside Speedway will kick off the 2013 season this Friday, April 12, with all four classes returning to do battle on Kansas City’s premier half-mile dirt track.

“Racing on the rivers edge” every Friday night through September will be the USRA A-Modifieds, Grand Nationals, USRA B-Modifieds and Factory Stocks.

Gates open at 5 p.m., hot laps at 6:45 p.m., and the first race gets under way at 7:30 p.m.  Adult ticket prices are $12, kids ages 7-12 $6 and children six and younger admitted free. Senior citizens and military personnel with ID are admitted for $10.

With well over 100 cars per-registered, come early and come prepared for some of the greatest action in town.

Special events throughout the season include multiple USMTS shows, the World of Outlaw Sprint Car Races, the Lucas Oil Late Model National Series, the 19th Annual Tom Karrick Memorial, the Lucas Oil MLRA Late Model Showdown and USMTS Modified Shootout.
