BPU: Water boiling alert lifted

On Monday, the Board of Public Utilities issued a precautionary water boiling alert for a portion of Kansas City, Kan.

As of 3:40 p.m., the alert has been lifted.

A precautionary boil water advisory that was issued on May 13 for residents of Kansas City, Kansas has been lifted.

Yesterday’s special notice was for residents living in the area bounded by north of County Line Road and South of Hagemann Street and East of 59th Street and West of 53rd Street. The safety and quality of the water supply is our top priority at BPU and all tests confirmed that the precautionary boil notice can now be lifted.
