A tractor trailer fire at 3031 Fairfax Trafficway caused nearly $150,000 worth of damage this afternoon in Kansas City, Kan.

No one was hurt in the fire, which was reported to the Kansas City, Kan., Fire Department at around noon on Friday.

The KCK Fire Department dispatched Haz Mat crews to the area after being informed that the trailer contained lithium ion batteries.

"Employees in immediate area were moved up wind from the incident," said Craig Duke, KCK Fire Department Battalion Chief. "Crews had saws to open up the side and top of trailer to get water onto the fire."

The fire was accidental, according to Duke.
