KCKFD employee arrested, placed on unpaid administrative leave

KANSAS CITY, KAN. ---- The Kansas City, Kan., Police Department has arrested an employee of the Kansas City, Kan., Fire Department.

No information is available about who the employee is or why he or she was arrested by police.

According to KCK Fire Department Deputy Chief and Public Information Officer Craig Duke, the employee has been placed on unpaid administrative leave pending the outcome of legal proceedings.
