Nominees sought for Washington High School Hall of Fame


KANSAS CITY, KAN. --- Washington High School is seeking nominations for the Washington High School Hall of Fame Class of 2013.

The Washington High School Hall of Fame was founded in 2013 to celebrate Washington High School’s rich history, renowned graduates, staff, and supporters.  The Hall of Fame honors the lifetime achievements of those who have distinguished themselves in their professional careers, for service and contributions to their communities, or in other ways that reflect positively on the educational foundation of Washington High School.

Do you know a Washington High School alumnus, staff member, or WHS supporter, who deserves induction into our Inaugural WHS Hall of Fame class?  If so, please use this form to nominate him or her.  Nominees will be selected by Hall of Fame committee members.  Both living and deceased alumni may be nominated for the WHS Hall of Fame.  Hall of Fame members will be permanently honored in our Washington High School Alumni Center.

The Hall of Fame inducts up to five new members annually.  Nomination forms for the 2013-14 school year must be received by October 1, 2013.  The First Washington High School Hall of Fame Candidates will be inducted at a ceremony during half-time of the boy’s varsity basketball game on January 31, 2014.
