Legends Outlets honors breast cancer survivors, patients through social media campaign

KANSAS CITY, KAN – To recognize and pay tribute to breast cancer survivors and patients for October’s National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Legends Outlets Kansas City is kicking off a month-long social media campaign that will feature those who have conquered the disease or are currently battling it.

The campaign, titled “Legendary Survivors,” will run Oct. 1 – 31 and be hosted on Legends Outlets’ Facebook page.

Fans are asked to submit photos of friends and loved ones who have fought or are fighting breast cancer along with a brief essay of how the person epitomizes “resiliency, heart and the spirit of life.” Legends Outlets Facebook fans will vote for the submission they feel is most representative of “resiliency, heart and the spirit of life.”

Voting will be open during the entire run of the campaign. The submission receiving the most votes will win a $500 Legends Outlets gift card and a 2-hour personal styling session with Melanie Knopke, expert stylist with national fashion company, Style Spies.

Legends Outlets also recently announced its “Shop Pink and Save” October promotion, a month-long shopper savings and fundraising program benefiting local breast cancer survivors through Back in the Swing.
