Monday night weather update: 10 inches now possible


KANSAS CITY, KAN. ----- The latest weather forecast from the National Weather Service now predicts more snow for Kansas City.

Earlier on Monday, the forecast was for 6-8 inches of snow. Now, parts of Kansas City could see over 10 inches of snow.

According to the National Weather Service, the strongest snow will be from the mid-morning hours to the afternoon hours.

Snow will eventually end late on Tuesday.

After the snow exits, the cold enters. Wind chills could be as low as 25 degrees below zero on Thursday morning.
