Lamar Hunt, Jr. to Speak at A Taste of KCK Event

KANSAS CITY, KAN. ---- Resurrection Catholic School at the Cathedral announced today that Lamar Hunt, Jr. will be the featured speaker at the school’s A Taste of KCK event on Saturday, January 17, 2015.

Now in its third year, A Taste of KCK welcomes local restaurateurs, home chefs, musicians, and members of the community to honor the diverse traditions of the different ethnic heritages that are represented at the school.

The event also acknowledges the contributions that countless individuals make to support Resurrection in its work to provide a high quality, faith-based education to students of eastern Wyandotte County. Proceeds from the event will be used to make structural improvements to the school building.

Lamar Hunt, Jr. is the founder of Loretto Properties, LLC, a company with the goal of helping local communities by purchasing and renovating homes and commercial properties in need of repair, and renting them to people and businesses who also want to see these communities thrive.

Loretto Properties recently became involved in the revitalization efforts in downtown Kansas City, Kansas, an area that Resurrection Catholic School serves.

A Taste of KCK will be held at the school at 425 N. 15th Street in Kansas City, Kansas on Saturday, January 17. The event starts at 6pm, with dinner at 7pm and the program scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.
