Google Fiber Morning Update - August 1

There are now a total of six Kansas City, Kan., Fiberhoods that have met their pre-registration goals for Google Fiber.

Recently joining the club were the Frank Rushton and Pearson School Fiberhoods.

With both exceeding their goals, a number of schools and community centers will now receive Google Fiber for free.

M.E. Pearson, McKinley Elementary School, Resurrection Catholic School, Bethany Recreation Center and Frank Rushton Elementary School will now receive the high-speed Internet.

Fiberhoods nearing their goals:

- Cambridge Circle is now just seven registrations away.

- The Wyandotte Center is area is down to 11 more.

- West Height and Quindaro are both 14 more registrations away from Google Fiber.
