Google Fiber Update: Two more Fiberhoods reach goal in Kansas City, Kan.

Eight Fiberhoods in Kansas City, Kan., have reached their registration goals.

Two more joined the original six this weekend, as the Wyandotte High School and Cambridge Circle Fiberhoods joined the party.

With the Wyandotte High School Fiberhood meeting their goals, Wyandotte High School, Bishop Ward High School, Mark Twain Elementary School and Donnelly College will receive the high-speed Internet technology for free.

Fiberhoods closing in:

- Dubs Dread needs just seven more to match their goal.

- The West Height Fiberhood needs just four more registrations.

- Wyandotte Center is just 10 more away, while Washington High School and Miland Pump Station are just 12 and 13 more away.
