Google announced on Thursday some of the early time estimations for the qualifying Fiberhoods in Kansas City, Kan.
Some of KCK will have Google Fiber as soon as next month.
The Hanover Heights and Dubs Dread Fiberhoods will receive Google Fiber in 2012, but the rest of KCK will have to wait until 2013.
Residents in the Hanover Heights area can expect to receive Google Fiber next month, while the Dubs Dread Fiberhood is expected to have it by December of 2012.
Google Fiber will arrive to most of KCK by next fall, though portions of KCK will have a year-long wait.
Those in the Piper Schools, Delaware Ridge, Painted Hills, Open Door and Arrowhead Fiberhoods will have it by next winter.

Google Fiber: Thursday was a big day for KCK's Fiberhoods
By NICK SLOAN, NJSloan212@gmail.com
While I haven't been keeping track of day-by-day totals, Thursday seemed to be one of the most active days in terms of Google Fiber registrations being made in Kansas City, Kan.
Three separate Fiberhoods joined the group on Thursday alone - and many more inched closer.
One of the biggest gainers was the Eisenhower Park Fiberhood. The Fiberhood entered Thursday 12 registrations away.
As the day ended, only two more registrations were made in the Fiberhood, meaning Google Fiber will likely be coming to Eisenhower Middle School and John F. Kennedy Elementary School.
Eisenhower Park is one of 10 Fiberhoods within 12 registrations of meeting their goals.
Those include:
Eisenhower, 2
Miland Pump Station, 3
Woodland, 5
County 5, 6
City Park, 8
Quindaro, 8
Prescott Park, 10
Central Middle School, 11
Memorial Park, 11
Central Middle School, 12

PHOTO: Eisenhower Middle School rallies for Google Fiber
Eisenhower Middle School is one of several schools across Wyandotte County that could benefit from the Google Fiber installation.
Outside of the school, a cut-out of the bunny logo of the Internet company can be found, along with a "Let's do this for Eisenhower Eagles" sign.
Presently, nearly 100 individuals have registered inside the Eisenhower Park Fiberhood. However, 44 registrations are still needed before the Fiberhood reaches its goal.

KCK has a new Fiberhood leader
From the moment Google Fiber was officially "launched," the Hanover Heights Fiberhood of Kansas City, Kan., was leading the way in registrations by percentage.
That's no longer the case, as the Dubs Dread Fiberhood in Western Wyandotte County has surpassed it.
Nearly 25 percent of the entire Fiberhood has signed up for Google Fiber. Just six more registrations are needed.

Eight Fiberhoods in Kansas City, Kan., have reached their registration goals.
Two more joined the original six this weekend, as the Wyandotte High School and Cambridge Circle Fiberhoods joined the party.
