The 2014 fishing and boating permits are now available for purchase. Both permits can be purchased at the Parks and Recreation Administrative Office and the Wyandotte County Lake Marina.
Beginning next week fishing permits can also be purchased at Cabela's, Minnesota Bait, Walmart stores located at the Plaza at the Speedway and in Bonner Springs, Ks. Permits are required for boating at Wyandotte County Lake and Pierson Lake.
Opening Day for fishing is scheduled for March 1st, weather permitting.
